This world prehistory timeline displays nearly 300 events that shaped early human history. The events explain the evolution of human behavior and the human body, the evolution of language and the invention of stone and metal tools. Also, animal extinctions, domestications, cave findings, prehistoric art and famous buildings from the Neolithic period. The Ice Age climate history for the past 3 million years is included too. A chart of Human Evolution is also shown in this timeline, with 19 hominids and over 80 relevant fossils from all over the world.
